Biography
Janeisha John was born on December 3 and was raised on the beautiful island of St. Croix, USVI since the age of 6 months old. With Caribbean parents, who have always instilled the importance of family, hard work, and creativity in Janeisha and her three siblings, Janeisha has always remained active, from dancing, gymnastics, playing sports, taekwondo, playing the alto sax, modeling, and even running the family bakery/restaurant business, Janeisha has done it all. Though all of these activities are what make Janeisha a well-rounded person, she is mostly known in the community for her participation in various local and international pageants, such as Ms. Virgin Islands Pride, Ms. St. Croix, and Ms. University of the Virgin Islands, Miss America U.S. Virgin Islands. Her most popular title is Miss US Virgin Islands Universe 2010. As Miss Virgin Islands, Janeisha proudly represented the Virgin Islands at Miss Universe in August 2010, and the 87th annual Miss America Pageant. Janeisha was also featured on national television in the four part reality series, “Miss America Reality Check” on TLC (The Learning Channel). In addition to pageantry, Janeisha is currently a host/VJ having hosted for the former MTV-affiliated and Caribbean network TEMPO. She is the official host of the annual Miss St. Croix pageant. She has also done Red Carpet correspondence for Project Runway’s Mychael Knight New York Fashion Week show, and for the Children Uniting Nations Oscar Viewing Party in Beverly Hills. Janeisha was also a general news reporter/events host at CBS TV-2 news station; as well as, the host for WTJX-Channel 12's “Rediscover St. Croix-US Virgin Islands”, a local television show which highlighted local historically, and environmentally significant sights on the island of St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John.
�Janeisha currently resides in Los Angeles California, where she is furthering her TV hosting, modeling and acting career. She has since been featured as a model in several music videos for Wale ft. Usher, Kid Ink ft. Fetty Wap, Daddy Yankee, 2Chainz & Pharrell, Jessie J, and Nick Cannon to name a few. Janeisha can also be seen in several local/national commercial and print ads for popular brands like Malibu Red, Shoe Dazzle, Microsoft,Verizon, Toyota Corolla, Target, Standard & Practices, Raymour & Flanigan, Johnny Walker and IB Designs to name a few. Janeisha also hosts weekly shows and red carpets on Afterbuzz TV and Black Hollywood Live, an after show network owned by E! News’ Maria Menounes. She was recently highlighted as a USVI Ambassador on CBS TV2, was also honored at the Annual Crucian Lechon Festival in St. Croix and was previously honored alongside her father, Josephat John, in the VI Black Pages for her accomplishments in entertainment and for her representation of the Virgin Islands. She has modeled at various fashion events and tv shows to include FACET Fashion Week, LA Fashion Week, Sandra Baquero and Sohung Designs for New York Fashion Week, Virgin Islands Fashion Week, numerous appearances on “The Real” talk show and is the muse for Virgin Islands’ designer Jamal Drummond’s “Ahmadz Fashion” line. Besides, her love for fashion, and modeling, Janeisha is also a dancer having professionally trained for 12 years with Caribbean dance schools; Music in Motion and Cruzan Dance. Janeisha is a proud magnet honors graduate of the St. Croix Educational Complex Class of 2005 in which she was president of her class, and in May 2009 received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of the Virgin Islands.

Overall Janeisha considers herself to be a friendly, energetic, creative, hardworking, family-oriented, and driven individual who hopes to one day own her very own production company that will focus mainly on showcasing the talent of the youth of the Caribbean. Janeisha's motto in life is “With determination, perseverance, and a heart of gold, always believe you can and will achieve.”�
