“Purveyor of feel good VIbes , in a judgment free, take your shoes off type of musical atmosphere.”

That’s how MoJo’ describes herself as a DJ.  Never afraid to go too deep, her emotive musical selections are her own therapy.  Having grown up in her father’s studio (Mountain Sounds, USVI), she was exposed to a combination of genres, to include reggae, soca, hip hop, and soul music...all which became infused with her own love for calypso, afro-beat, electronic, and pop music. MoJo’ ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where she picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that she loves best.

Although MoJo’ travels often, she still remains a member of her local Virgin Islands community. She uses her business, “MoJo’ VIbes Entertainment” to mentor an eclectic group of youth, giving them a positive outlet as she promotes her hashtags #SheGotDatMoJo, #HeGotDatMoJo, and #ItsVIbes, giving both the youth and the community that she loves a reminder that self- love and self- confidence is extremely important to mental health and stability. She is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Having successfully completed a Crucian Festival Tour in January 2019, in St. Croix, USVI. MoJo’ took on 13 gigs, in 14 days and received much appreciated love from her local fans. Though she loves playing in nightclubs, caribbean carnivals and special events, her love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes.  As an upcoming producer, self-promoter/ manager, and fire dancer/ performer she has found another way to express herself musically and overall artistically.  She produces her own mash-ups that pair seamlessly with artistic fire dancing videos of herself. Those videos reach a large audience of people via social media, as she shows the world what she’s really made of. MoJo’ has hopes of growing her business (MVEnt.), as she believes that a true entertainer and lover of the arts explores and expresses through many forms.

“For me, it’s all about living in that moment and allowing the music to take control of you…my biggest goal, while performing as a DJ, is to play those tracks that get you to close your eyes, move your hips, and let the music take over without you realizing it. Music is life!”
